RIYL: Lull, Lustmord, SleepResearch_Facility

‘Artefacts’ is the debut release from VEILED, the dark ambient and electronic project of Daniel James Dolby. Spanning 6 tracks, ‘Artefacts’ has a common overarching theme, specifically the feeling of loss and yearning for the past. Each track on the album was composed and constructed using layers of manipulated found sounds and synthesizers.

Daniel James Dolby plays bass and creates noise in UK based ‘sludgecore’ band Mastiff (signed to MNRK Heavy – previously known as eOne Heavy) and has always held an interest in electronic music, especially dark ambient, drone and noise. He has composed for a number of short films and feature films, most notably 2016’s ‘Broken’ which was premiered at Frightfest in London.
